ARTISTS
IN SESSION

IGOR PUŠKARIĆ

Igor is known for his 3D modeling, 2D and 3D concept art, and animation. His works were shown at PAX Convention East and PAX Convention West in Boston 2011 and Seattle 2012 with Novus Aeterno. He often exhibits at SketchFab and TurboSquid – sometimes on the cover.

His Zagreb showing consists of two pieces, both inspired by nature: A Floating Island and A Wandering Butterfly

VELJKO I MILIVOJ POPOVIĆ

Veljko and Milivoj Popović won 70 international awards for animation, including Annecy, Hiroshima, Zagreb Animafest, and Aspen Shortsfest in Colorado. Veljko is an associate professor at Art Academy of Split (UMAS), where Milivoj teaches. They work together in Prime Render Studio. Their work has been published in numerous prestigious publications.

Their piece World Hates NFTs is a comment on a polarizing topic of non-fungible tokens and their role in the future of art. Are they a new phase in contemporary art? Are they vandalizing and defacing real art?

COSTAS PICADAS

Born in Greece, Picadas studied art in Paris before moving to New York. His expression is an amalgam of medical sciences and personal experiences of nature.

In Zagreb, he is showing Forms of Life, based on the notion that art has healing powers, that it could make the world a better place, or the individual a healthier person.

SOLIMAN LOPEZ

Soliman Lopez is an art historian with a MA in Art and Communication which lead to him developing conceptual technological art UAS  in Paris, France, and ESAT LAB in Valencia, Spain.

His work Sporo is a theoretical piece of biotechnology that can help us solve global warming and maybe survive the Anthropocene.

INVERSE

Inverse strives to blur lines between physical and digital realities, believing in a non-dystopian digital future. His work was exhibited at Digital Art Month (New York 2021, Paris 2021 & 2022), Ars Electronica 2021, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia 2020, and BAIFFF 2020.

In Zagreb he is showing Nature Phoenix which questions our future and nature – will it continue without us, or will we find a way to restore the balance of our ecosystem?

BOTINA

Exhibits internationally in different kinds of media and AR. Their work is recognizably poetic and cuts deep with a daring aesthetic.

At Art  Future, Botina explores The Imagination of Water, where all life began. That which has no shape, but can take any form. The source of life. What is on her mind? What makes her tangible?
